John Spitzer is an actor, improvisor, director, musician, and private teacher. He has studied under master teachers Lisa Dalton and Wil Kilroy through the National Michael Chekhov Association (NMCA). As an avid improvisor, he has studied under numerous teachers such as Julie Brister and Greg Tuculescu through the Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB). He seeks to facilitate growth, healing, and transformation through theatre. He is the artistic director of the CCircle.
Bakersfield adorer and proud native Lindsay Sharp is grateful to be alive in this beautiful city, helping to contribute to its growth and healing with her offerings of music, meditation, yoga, massage and transformational bodywork.
Cory Rickard Geurtsen (she, her, hers) is a founding member of The Empty Space. Some of her plays there include, Romeo and Juliet, Stone Cold Dead Serious, Suburbia, and Fuddy Meers. She is a 4th grade teacher at Bimat Elementary, an adjunct theatre professor at Bakersfield College, and is a long time participant in the Kern Shakespeare Festival. She has also worked in children’s theatre through Tonicism Productions, The Spotlight Theatre School of Art, and Arts Council of Kern. Cory received her teaching credential from San Jose State and holds a B.A. in Art History from Cal State, Bakersfield. She earned an M.A. in Theatre Arts from Cal State, Los Angeles where she was a selected playwright for the John Lion New Plays Festival. She believes in the transformative power generated by a community connected through theatre. She lives in beautiful downtown Bakersfield with her husband Dylan
Patrick Reyes is a native Bakersfield musician who is performing in a theater setting for the first time. He has previously worked with local bands The Easy In, The Rhythm Ambassadors, and The Capsouls among other musical acts. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in English from California State University Bakersfield and currently works as a guitar instructor for Bakersfield Sound Company
